What ingredients can be incorporated into my custom cookie?

You can add any ingredients you’d like into your cookie. If you are interested in checking out some options, we have a list of potential ingredients you can access via a tab under the FAQs section.

How long will my cookie stay in the shop?

Your cookie will remain in the shop as long as its popularity and accessibility of ingredients allow.However, you, the creator of your custom cookie, will always be welcome to reorder whether it’s available in the shop or not. If you want to order your cookie and it isn’t available, send an email to doughbakesslc@gmail.com and we will be happy to help you!

Do I have to order a custom cookie recipe to order cookies?

No!You can order cookies from the shop without making a custom cookie order. All cookies in the shop are designed by previous customers and all of them are delicious!

What if I want a classic chocolate chip cookie?

If you’re in the mood for a classic cookie, there are a lot of great shops in and around the Salt Lake City valley! If you need any recommendations, feel free to message us and we’d love to point you in the right direction!

How far in advance do I have to order my custom cookies?

Because your cookie recipe is customized and tailored to your tastes, we require orders to be made at least two weeks in advance.However, if you need your cookies faster than that, feel free to reach out via email or instagram, and we will see if there’s anything we can do.

If I’m not ordering custom cookies, do I have to order in advance?

Depending on the size of your order/availability, we suggest placing orders at least 48 hours in advance.

How will I receive my cookie order?

If you live in or around the Salt Lake valley, orders will be delivered to your doorstep. Otherwise, orders will be mailed.

Does shipping cost extra?

Orders placed outside of the delivery range will incur shipping fees. Costs will be dependent on cookie ingredients (certain ingredients require temperature controlled shipping) and customer location. All out of state orders will require expedited shipping.

How many ingredients can I add into my custom cookie?

At this time, there isn’t a limit to the amount of ingredients you can add into your custom cookie. If you add an ingredient under “other” and it isn’t available, we will reach out to you to discuss similar options.

Do I have to pay extra per ingredient?

At this time, there is no extra charge per ingredient added. Go crazy! But not too crazy… we want the cookies to taste good and sometimes less is more.

Can I place a custom cookie order and also order cookies of a different flavor?

Yes! As mentioned above, your custom cookie order comes with 6 of your custom cookies. You can order additional cookies (of any variety including your own) for an additional $3.50 each.

Can I create more than one cookie with one custom cookie order?

No.Since a single custom cookie order requires research and testing of different recipes, one custom cookie order comes with one custom cookie flavor. However, if you want to create an additional custom cookie, you can certainly order two separate custom cookie designs.

Can vegan/gluten free diets be accommodated?

Absolutely! When completing the custom cookie form, specify any dietary restrictions or preferences and they will happily be accommodated.

How do I access the custom cookie form?

You can access the custom cookie form by filling out the information below or reaching out via social media/email. Inquires can be sent to doughbakesslc@gmail.com. Once we have heard from you, we will send you the link to the ingredient form.

Are there restrictions to what the custom cookie can be named?

Not really. We want you to feel ownership of your cookie, so we’ll pretty much go with whatever you choose. However, we have no tolerance for derogatory names/hate speech and reserve the right to cancel any orders not in compliance with that policy.

What if I get my cookies and I don’t like them or they were ruined in transit?

Your satisfaction is our main goal. We want you to LOVE your cookies and your experience with us. Although we do not offer refunds on cookie orders, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase in any way, please reach out to doughbakesslc@gmail.com and we will work with you to find a solution.

What if I have questions or need to edit my order?

What if I want to cancel my order?

Custom orders can be canceled within 24 hours of order placement. All other orders can be canceled anytime before shipment or (for locals) delivery.

Can I share my custom recipe on social media?

Although we reserve the rights to all custom cookie recipes we create, the recipe is also yours and you can do with it as you please. Think of it as a joint custody of sorts.

How do I store my cookies if I wont be consuming them upon receipt?

In order to ensure the best quality, it’s the goal of Dough Bakes for you to receive your cookies the day of or night before you will eat/serve them. Cookies should remain in their packing and either be kept at room temperature or refrigerated depending on their contents. If your cookie requires refrigeration, Dough Bakes will disclose that to you upon placement order.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of cookies that can be ordered?

The minimum order for a batch of cookies is 6. If you are ordering a custom recipe, those 6 are included in your base price and you do not need to order an additional 6 cookies. There is not a set maximum for cookie orders but will be contingent on availability.
